This page explains how FarmGrid users can request account deletion and how associated personal data is handled after the request is completed.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to support@farmgrid.app with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
- Include your registered phone number or email address used on FarmGrid.
- We may request identity verification to protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.
- Once verified, we process deletion and send you a confirmation email.
You can also delete your account from within the app settings if that option is available in your app version.
Data We Delete
- Account profile details and contact information
- Service-provider profile and listing content
- Uploaded files and user-generated profile content
- Most support and communication data tied to your account
Data We May Retain
Certain records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Transaction and payment records
- Security logs and fraud-monitoring records
- Records required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
Retention Periods
- Account deletion requests are generally completed within 30 days of identity verification.
- Backup systems may take up to 90 days to fully cycle out deleted data.
- Legally required records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable law.
